Corporate Responsibility and Responsible Sourcing Policy

Overview

RGV Group LLC takes the issue of ethical diamond sourcing very seriously and has a zero tolerance policy toward conflict diamonds. We continually strive to provide the highest quality jewelry, with our consideration and dedication to social responsibility and commitment to the environment, at the same time.

RGV Group LLC fully supports and participates in Kimberly Process and The United Nations resolutions. We can assure our customers, that diamonds we use in our jewelry, are supplied by legit sources, which avoid actions that may directly or indirectly finance armed conflict and human rights violations around the world in accordance with OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) framework.

Conflict Free Sourcing and Verification Measures

a. Precious Metals

  • RGV Group LLC uses 100% recycled, highest quality precious metals, and requires its suppliers to provide a proof that precious metals used to produce components/finding RGV Group LLC is purchasing, are also from 100% recycled sources. Metal suppliers must provide a Certificate of Sourcing Proof.

b. Diamonds

  • RGV Group LLC’s purchases diamonds only from suppliers that are well established and respected in the jewelry industry and who enforce the highest compliance standards. We do not buy diamonds from unknown sources.

  • RGV Group LLC buys diamonds only from suppliers that are fully compliant with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, United Nations Resolutions, OECD framework and corresponding national and international laws, and demands to provide warranty statements in all invoices, that they are not in violation of applicable national and international laws and that their diamonds did not originated from the Marange region of Zimbabwe, are conflict free and sourced with respect for human rights.

  • The warranties are verified at the time of purchase and annually by compliance officer nominated to RGV Group LLC.

  • In addition, we require our suppliers to provide written declaration of their guarantees based on OECD Supply Chain Due Diligence Guidance, periodically.

c. Gemstones

  • We are requiring our suppliers to provide written assurances that they do not provide the gemstones which were not mined or sourced in Burma, have been purchased from legitimate sources outside of Burma and are in compliance with the Burma (Myanmar) Sanctions Regulation (31 USC of FR, Part 537). The seller certificate has to guarantee that all gemstones provided to RGV Group LLC are conflict-free and in strict compliance with the Burma (Myanmar) Sanctions Regulation.

Corrective Actions

RGV Group LLC will immediately stop engaging with suppliers if we find a reasonable risk of noncompliance.
